Together with our client based in Central Cambridge we are looking for a Graduate Residential Assistant (Graduate)
Job Title: Boarding Graduate Residential Assistant (GRA)
Department: Boarding
Responsible to: Head of Boarding through Senior House-parent
Purpose of the
job:
Our client is offering graduates the opportunity to work at
a school with exceptional pastoral care, inspirational teaching and diverse
co-curricular activities in an outstanding learning environment. Graduate
Residential Assistants are a vital link between the students and staff.
Graduate Residential Assistants (GRAs) are responsible to the Head of
Boarding and are expected to reside in the accommodation provided in the
Boarding House. GRAs are not required to stay on site during their time off
although this is encouraged. They occupy a special position in the House in
support of the students, but they are first and foremost members of staff and
must always ensure that their behaviour reflects that prime responsibility.
Appropriate staff training and induction will be given to cover Safeguarding,
First Aid, Fire Training, Child Protection Training, Student Welfare &
Counselling
