SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Schools catering for students aged 5-19 years with a range of SEN needs (PMLD)
Location: East London Boroughs
Hours: 8:30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £80 - £90 per day, depending on experience
Must be available immediately

Do you have teaching assistant experience with behavioural and SEN support knowledge, and looking for a new challenge?
We are looking for several SEN Teaching Assistants for an SEN primary and secondary for students with complex, low incidence special educational needs. You will have the chance to go perm and some LSA staff are also given the chance to train to become qualified teachers.
Duties:
- Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
- Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
- Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
- Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
- Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
- Support students with SEN and additional needs

- Youth work
- Learning mentor in a primary and secondary environment
- Probation Service/Youth Offending
- Counselling

Salary: £80.00-£90.00 per day
