Location: Cambridge, UK

An innovative company in Cambridge is seeking a Graduate Software Test Engineer to join their team. This role offers a diverse and challenging environment, working on projects ranging from technology prototypes to full-scale product development.

Role Start: Successful candidates can join between May-October 2024.

Type of Work:

• Test planning, design, and execution for a variety of products.
• Collaboration with skilled engineers across software, hardware, and system development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests on existing projects, evaluating and improving testing approaches.
• Develop and maintain bespoke test harnesses and scripts, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Deliver high-quality code compliant with internal standards.
• Work within project timescales and budgets.

Requirements:

• A degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Experience in Python or other programming languages.
• Excellent communication skills and an inquisitive nature.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, issue tracking systems, and Raspberry Pi.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and continuous integration tools like Gitlab or Jenkins.
