As a Graduate Solar PV Engineer joining our expert Solar and BESS team, you can make an impact on multiple solar engineering services, owner’s engineer consultancy and EPC project across the UK.


You’ll be based in our London or Glasgow city centre office, with the option to work from home 2 day per week. Regular travel to sites is required, so please note you must be able to drive for this role.
This is a permanent opportunity (not rotation program) with immediate starts available.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the activities you’ll get involved in:



  • Feasibility studies, front-end engineering design layouts (for solar PV and BESS), energy yield assessments, solar PV and BESS technology assessment, tender preparation
  • Energy Yield Assessments (EYA).
  • Assist with development of Basic Design, including instructing layouts and SLDs
  • Engineering and economics analysis of solar energy projects.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings.
  • Assist with various marketing and tender initiatives.
  • Developing skills with tools including PVCase, PVsyst, AutoCAD and programming skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • You should be a recent graduate (within 2 years)
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Preferred Qualifications


Basic knowledge of:
  • Solar PV and BESS with desire to learn more in this space
  • Renewable energy landscape in the UK
  • Engineering design principles and standards
  • Engineering Project stages and lifecycle
Basic skills:
  • Report writing, using MS Excel
  • PVCase, PVsyst, AutoCAD
  • Confident contributing to discussions internally and with clients, excellent communication skills and collaborative approach
