Wellington School is looking to appoint Graduate Sports Assistants from September 2024. These opportunities will be fixed term for a year in the first instance.
Contributing to the Sport and Wellbeing programme across a variety of sporting disciplines, these role under the guidance of the Director of Sport, seek to inspire and support pupils to reach their full sporting potential.
As an aspiring Coach or Teacher, these exciting roles provide an initial step into working in an educational setting with children aged 3 -18. Suitable candidates should have a passion for sport & wellbeing and have demonstrable playing or coaching skill or experience in at least one target sport or discipline (e.g. Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Athletics or Cricket) as well as the flexibility and desire to support in other sports and wellbeing lessons.
We are looking for individuals who will use their relevant qualifications to create and nurture outstanding working relationships with pupils aged 3 to 18. A genuine desire to work with young people and participate in the life of a busy Boarding and Day School is essential.
These roles can be residential with accommodation and meals provided. Although this is not an essential criteria of the role, such an opportunity can provide the chance to live alongside the Boarding Staff and experience all that the school has to offer.
