Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Support: Utilise your expertise in the subject you studied at university to provide targeted assistance to students in and out of the classroom.
- Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Individualised Support: Work closely with students, including those with additional learning needs, to provide tailored assistance and promote academic progress.
- Assessment Support: Assist in the preparation, administration, and grading of assessments to gauge student understanding and track progress.
- Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere by supporting teachers in managing student behaviour.
- Extracurricular Activities: Get involved in the school community by participating in extracurricular activities, clubs, or events that enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
Recent Graduate: A degree in the relevant subject area from a recognised university is essential.
Passion for Education: Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with young people and contributing to their academic growth.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both students and staff.
Adaptability: The capacity to adapt to the dynamic nature of a school environment and support various aspects of teaching and learning.
