This role is working within a lovely SEN school in Salisbury and is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn as much as possible while gaining experience in a highly supportive environment.

The students you will be supporting will be ages 7-16 (KS2-KS4 Growing to KS5) and will have significant and complex needs including special education needs and disabilities (SEN) as well as social-emotional mental health needs (SEMH). The support you'll give will play an essential role in ensuring these children can thrive and have a memorable school experience.

  • Full-time Monday – Friday (35 hour working week)
  • £450 - £490 per week (term time only)
  • Hold a completed bachelor's degree (minimum 2:2)

What We Are Looking For:

  • Eager to learn new things and help others
  • Comfortable with providing SEMH support as well as personal care
  • A robust graduate and/or someone with SEN experince previously 
  • Able to build positive relationships with children from a range of backgrounds
  • An empathetic individual with a 'can do' mindset
  • Have a good knowledge or experience in working with children who have SEN/SEMH needs (ideal but not essential)
