Job description

Location: We have positions available in our Cardiff and Penllergaer Offices; but please note, Audit Wales has a hybrid approach to working, where some days will be in our office and there is an option to spend some days at home.

Then our Graduate Trainee programme might be what you’re looking for! We currently have vacancies in our South and West Wales teams.

Interested in where your tax money is going and what it is being spent on? Are you passionate about improving public services? As a trainee at Audit Wales, you’ll be studying for your accountancy qualification whilst investigating how the public’s money is being spent, and whether it is being spent well.

You’ll play a part in the audit of over 800 public bodies across Wales, ensuring the work you do makes a real difference to the citizens of Wales. Our clients include Welsh Government, NHS Wales, local government and many more!

  • Assure the people of Wales that public money is being managed well through our annual audit of public sector accounts.

  • Very good academic achievement at A Level or equivalent qualifications.
  • Degree Level – minimum of a 2:1 or minimum of a 2:2 where additional qualifications held e.g. Masters
