The NICS is seeking to fill Graduate Trainee Civil Engineer roles that require specific skills and experience. There are currently a number of full-time vacancies for Graduate Trainee Civil Engineers in the NICS: Department for Infrastructure: Transport and Road Assessment Management (TRAM) Group. Water and Departmental Delivery Group. Department of Finance: Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD). Preliminary and detailed design of Civil Engineering projects. Applicants must, possess or expect to achieve by 31 July 2024 either (For those candidates who have yet to receive confirmation of their results, further pre-employment checks will be carried out prior to appointment)Candidates will only be appointed if evidence is provided that they have attained their qualification as detailed in the eligibility criteria)Have at least a second-class honours degree in Civil EngineeringOr Have a degree accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) which satisfies the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Institution of Civil Engineers recognises as equivalent , After an eligibility sift, should it be necessary to shortlist candidates to go forward to interview, the following additional criteria will be used: Applicants who by July 2024 possess a Masters degree included in the JBM accredited degree
