Sheringham Town Council (STC) has 16 members who are unpaid Public Servants. They are the first tier of local government, raising taxes through a precept each year to cover the local services and projects for which it is responsible.
The strength of a local council is that it is able to give a unique response to the needs of the community of Sheringham. STC also has a vital role to play in representing the interests of the community it serves and influencing other decision makers.
Your new role
Supporting grants and Funding applications.
*Focussed on the identification of funds (current/future), creating bids and their submission to the funder.
*Recent experience of medium/large grant applications (Desirable)
*Assisting with projects such as creation of a meadowland burial site, large improvements at our Sports Pavilion and reinvigoration of putting greens.
What you\'ll need to succeed
*Able to work to deadlines.
*Be able to work alone or well as part of a team.
*Great Admin skills.
* Precise and accurate documentation skills.
What you\'ll get in return
Between £12-£14 Per hour
23-day holiday, plus bank holidays.
Office location in Sheringham
Full time
Monday to Friday
