Grant Operations Manager, Process And Change Management

The Royal Society Grants team is responsible for administering the Society’s grants programmes including the major fellowships, international collaborations, capacity building initiatives, innovation and industry grants programmes. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Grant Operations, the postholder will be responsible for the management, monitoring and improvement of the Grants Section’s business processes to ensure the effective delivery of the Royal Society’s Grant schemes.

This includes:

• Implementing organisational and sector good practice through the effective application of agreed grant funding policies and positions within the Royal Society’s business processes.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of the Royal Society’s grants management processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Managing an ongoing programme of improvement across the Royal Society’s grant funding activities, using industry accepted project and Change Management techniques.

Reports to: Senior Manager Grant Operations

Line manages: N/A

Location: Carlton house Terrace, London plus hybrid working 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Grade: D

Salary: £44, 067
