We are looking for passionate Graphic Designer to join the team to help us in communicating our brand purpose; to power a cleaner, greener future together. The role will include a wide and exciting variety of creative projects across campaigns, print, digital, operational, and promotional. With opportunities to lead on creative projects and owning the brand creative for key campaigns, this is a senior role and key for brand consistency across Good Energy’s marketing and communications.
This role forms part of the Marketing team. This person will be responsible for:
- Ensuring brand consistency across all brand collateral and content.
- Keeping internal brand asset library up to date with photography and icons.
- Working with key stakeholders and external agencies to ensure brand consistency.
- Keeping brand guidelines up to date and present them to external agencies when needed to.
- Creating content and collateral for marketing campaigns and ongoing customer comms.
- Researching and planning ideas for new content, staying aware of current design industry trends.
- Using creative and technical skills to support marketing campaigns and content for social media channels.
- Supporting wider business with design and brand needs.
- Working with digital marketing team and UX team to support with visual assets for website, portal and app.
- Using art direction and organisational skills to support with briefing brand and product photoshoots and updating our image library.
- Working with another Graphic Designer on the team, sharing work effectively, collaborating on projects and working together to meet deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be used to collaborating in a team and getting stuck into projects. An excellent communication, with creative ideas and contributes to bringing ideas campaign's.
Essentials:
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite programs; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Ability to use MS Office programs, Word and PowerPoint to update internal templates.
- Graphic design experience at a senior level – portfolio of design work required.
- Experience of developing brand guidelines/brand ownership.
- Experience of working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to review work and give brand guidance.
- Experience of design for both digital and print communications.
Desirables:
- Knowledge of and experience in the energy industry and/or an interest in sustainability and environmental issues.
- Creating animation and motion graphics using After Effects .
- Experience of UI/UX design principles and using design collaboration tools such as Figma.
- Experience of content strategy and idea generation.
