Job Title: Graphics and Digital Print Technician
Location: Anglesey, Wales
Compensation: £27,000 + Benefits

The role
As a Graphics and Digital Print Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide digital and graphics support services, including routine administration for the station.
Day to day, you'll:
  • Maintain Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Standards.
  • Provide computerized graphics with the use of desktop publishing, the internet, and graphics software applications (Corel Graphics Suite, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office) to meet the requirements of the RAF Valley Contract.
  • Appraise the requirements of customers of all levels, communicating clearly, and discussing technical design solutions, planning/creating the best means, and assessing each task to ensure most economical and professional methods of production are used.
  • Work as Graphics inventory holder, providing copy typing service, S&C typing service & specialist report writing.
  • When required, undertake RESTRICTED - MEDICAL typing/audio typing duties in the Medical Centre.
  • General Clerical duties including housekeeping of hard drive folders and files and stationary order.
  • Assure the maintenance of all section equipment where applicable.

This role is based full time, onsite at RAF Valley.
Essential experience of the Graphics and Digital Print Technician:
  • Up to NCF Level 5 Qualification or equivalent in Graphic Design related subject
  • Knowledge of GDPR legislation
  • Integrity in handling confidential data and information
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent at using Microsoft Office packages.

Qualifications for the Graphics and Digital Print Technician:
  • Driving Licence
  • First Aid Qualified

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC level security clearance for this role.
