Job Role: Graduate/Junior Software Developer
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

An incredibly exciting opportunity has opened with a pioneering start-up in the FinTech industry whose innovation has been recognised by the FCA Innovation Hub (Advice Unit).

Their mission is to enhance financial well-being for all and they are now on the search for someone to be a part of empowering the financial services industry alongside them, from the beginning of the journey.

The ideal candidate should possess diligence, ambition, and perseverance, along with a passion for technology!

1+ year commercial experience is preferable, along with a solid understanding of Golang or Python, however this isn't a requirement.

As a Graduate/Junior Software Developer, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Contribute to the implementation of new features and functionalities for financial products and services.
• Work on enhancing the scalability, performance, and security of software systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and innovations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on progress.
• Contribute to the documentation of software architecture, design decisions, and processes.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge within the fintech sector.
