Greenkeeper (Ref: GK/04/24)

Position – Permanent – 40 hrs per week (average)

Lisburn Golf Club, founded in 1905, is steeped in history and has a wealth of character. We are currently inviting applications for the temporary position of Greenkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity to work at one of Northern Ireland’s leading parkland courses, whilst gaining valuable experience.

Daily tasks will include:

· Set up of the golf course – including changing holes, moving tee markers, cleaning surfaces of debris.

· Maintaining bunkers

· Repairing divots

· Check machinery before use and report any irregularities.

· Maintaining trees and shrubs on the golf course.

· Maintaining good standards of health and safety for self and others.

Key skills and experience:

· Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Work on own initiative.

Hourly Rate: Salary on application
