With a portfolio of over 70 schemes across the UK and a strong partnership with a leading solar developer across Europe, this developer is set to continue on their strong growth trajectory over the coming years. They have really set the foundations to be a leading player in the industry, and they're now looking to add a Grid Project Manager to their existing technical team.

They're methodology behind this is solid, pairing with a leading EPC partner to both develop projects to a shovel-ready state and to build, own and operate these sites too. Their portfolio is heavily solar and battery energy storage, both hybrid and stand alone sites. They are leading the way in the transmission connections market with a portfolio of over 70 schemes all with Grid Connection offers. Their dedicated team of grid experts has made this possible, as well as their internal land, planning and development teams. Their connections are both transmission and distribution level, as well as nationwide.
The role:
You'd joining this team to play a vital part on their mission. Your main role would be to manage the existing portfolio as well as expanding on this to source new connection agreements in the space. You'll need a background in the UK electrical Grid Connection space, experience liaising with key stakeholders throughout this process and managing projects or processes.
Your main responsibility will include:
- Sourcing and designing new connection offers at both a transmission and distribution level connections
- Managing projects from inception through to later development and possibly construction stages.
- Designing cable routes for projects, to ensure connections are deliverable
- Carrying out site inspections for project feasibility.
- Ensuring projects hit major milestones and are compliant.
