Ground Maintenance Operative

Class 1 Personnel are working with a national client to recruit several Ground Maintenance operatives to work in Welwyn and Hatfield area of Hertfordshire. This is an opportunity to work with a well-established business.
 
This role will involve working outside 100% of the day.
 
You will need to be physically fit, and you must hold a valid car licence to be considered for this role.
 
 
Main Duties
You would be working as part of a team responsible for cutting the grass areas and hedge cutting sheltered schemes sites throughout Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield and the surrounding areas. 
Also, shrub pruning and maintaining shrub beds when needed. Planting out of summer bedding in the parks and other sites when required.
Experience in Grounds Maintenance is preferred, but not essential, full training could be available to the right applicant of a similar work background.
Uniform and PPE will be supplied, full induction and H&S and Risk assessment policies will be given.
Hours will be Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16.00  - 8 hrs per day.
We can offer pay rate of £11.44, which will increase to £11.60 if you are driving.
 
Desirable criteria for Ground Maintenance:  previous experience of grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub pruning and planting
