Reports to: Site Manager/Directors
Scope: To provide work to our high standards and timescales
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with the company's Health & Safety policy and ensure a duty of care to all other members of staff
- All aspects of groundworks, drainage, kerbs, block & beam floors, utilities/ducting, concreting of foundations, paving, fence posts, driveways, gardens, steps etc.
- Plant tickets desirable for up to 10 ton digger/dumper.
- Produce work of a high quality and within the agreed timescales for specific jobs
- Keep materials and other waste to a minimum
- Undertake any identified training to maintain up-to-date competencies and to enhance skills as necessary
- Look after all tools to ensure they are kept in a good state of repair and can be located easily by others
- Loading and unloading of materials either into store or across the site
- Manage access points ensuring they are kept closed as much as possible
- Ensure that any defects with materials, tools and equipment are reported immediately to your supervisor/section leader
- Complete and submit timesheets and any other paperwork required by the company by the dates requested
- Assist with other trades as instructed by the Directors or site management/supervisors
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Directors of the company
- The candidate should be prepared to travel to different locations as sites location over Cornwall.
