Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum Depending on Experience

We are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team!

The Role – Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in a professional and effective manner.
  Experienced in all aspects of Grounds Maintenance/landscaping.
• Operate machinery.
• Grass cutting/Strimming/Hedge trimming/Fencing/Turfing.
• Be Health & Safety aware, ensuring PPE is worn at all times and that procedures are followed carefully.
• Tree surgery, maintenance, planting.
• Grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks, including turfing, digging, planting, seeding and conservation.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Person Specification – Grounds Maintenance Operative:

Qualifications preferred but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate:

• NPTC PA1/PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides / Herbicide Application.
• NPTC Unit 201/202 Chainsaw maintenance, Cross-cutting and felling
• NPTC Unit 203 Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
• NPTC 201 1A Brushcutter and Trimmer
• Personal Track Safety - Training will be provided at a Network Rail Approved Training Centre.
• Full, clean driving licence.
