Grounds Person - Full - time, permanent
Location: Holmsford Crematorium, Scotland
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Grounds Person to join our team at Holmsford Crematorium on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are impeccably maintained, providing visitors with a serene and respectful space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, and weeding.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the grounds, including pathways and memorial areas.
- Assist in the care of floral displays and garden beds.
- Safely operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment.
- Support the team with additional duties related to grounds maintenance and facility upkeep as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping is essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
