Grounds Person - Full - time, permanent

Location: Holmsford Crematorium, Scotland

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Grounds Person to join our team at Holmsford Crematorium on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are impeccably maintained, providing visitors with a serene and respectful space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, and weeding.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the grounds, including pathways and memorial areas.
• Assist in the care of floral displays and garden beds.
• Safely operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment.
• Support the team with additional duties related to grounds maintenance and facility upkeep as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping is essential.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.

• Competitive annual salary of £24,741.60 (based on 39 hours per week).
