Groundskeeper 6 Month Contract

We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join the Environmental Services team in this important role. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our residents.

Requirements

Outline of Key responsibilities for the Groundskeeper...

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, and litter picking.

• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs to garden furniture, fences, gates, and other amenities.

• Ensure that pathways and walkways are clear of debris and hazard-free.

• Monitor the grounds for any safety hazards and promptly report any issues.

• Assist with the planning and implementation of landscaping projects.

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to any grounds-related queries or concerns from residents.

We are looking for someone who has...

• Prior experience in groundskeeping or a similar role.
• Knowledge of basic gardening and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents.
