Groundsperson / Horticultural Assistant

Groundsperson / Horticultural Operative required for 8-month contract commencing March 2024 at site based near Ipswich. This varied role will include maintaining field trials areas and will involves turf care and the preparation and maintenance of grounds (soil cultivation and preparation, planting, sowing, potting weeding, irrigation) and assisting with field trials in a rural and tranquil setting.

Applicants must have previous experience of grounds maintenance and of using horticultural machinery such as ride on mowers. PA1, PA2 and PA6 an advantage. Pleasant working environment within a small team based in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Hours 8am 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am 3.45pm on Friday.
