Groundworker

Are you an experienced Groundworker looking for an exciting opportunity to work on upcoming construction projects in Sussex? Look no further! Our client is seeking skilled and talented Groundworkers to join their team starting Feb 2024 and onwards.

As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including digging, excavating, and levelling ground, laying pipes and drainage systems, and constructing roads, paths, and other outdoor structures. You will use your knowledge of excavation and levelling techniques to create a solid foundation for construction projects, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in footings, concrete pouring, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings, and be skilled in laying pipes and drainage systems. You must also have experience in constructing roads, paths, and other outdoor structures, have attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, and be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
