Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our Group Analytics Team. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Group Analytics Delivery and a team of analysts to deliver analytic capabilities to meet business needs and deliver core deliverables that span multiple functions. The Data Analyst will have a deep understanding of finance and accounting concepts in addition to having strong operational knowledge of our business and previous experience working on complex projects.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Business Partners to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver core deliverables that span multiple functions
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Business Partners and stakeholders and provide proactive support in line with agreed business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new data-driven initiatives and solutions
  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned, such as workforce planning, data migration, system upgrades, or process improvements
  • Proactively support business functions in considering analytic capabilities and best practice within change roadmaps
General team responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI
  • Perform data cleaning, analysis, and modelling using Alteryx and other tools
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large and complex data sets
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, integrity, and efficiency
  • Conduct regular data quality checks and audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness, and make timely corrections as needed
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics and business intelligence
  • Present insights and analysis to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,"Computer"Science,"or"related field
