Group Area Manager

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Area Manager for our schools catering division.In this role, you will take responsibility for overseeing the catering operations of several primary schools within the Gloucester area.  Manage contracts and ensure efficient delivery of catering services in accordance with client requirements. You will contribute significantly to the growth, development, and retention of our contracts while delivering exceptional service standards and customer experiences.  Monday to Friday, with no work on bank holidays.  This role comes with a travel allowanceSodexo and our clients are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults within a regulated activity. This role will require applicants to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and/ or Disclosure Scotland.  What you’ll do:Develop and ensure a high focus on employee safety and positive client relations – ensuring that clients know you are on site and for what added value reasons.To conduct site service evaluations, realising action plans and implementing change required to meet the consistent standardsTo establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels in the Company and Client sitesParticipate in creation of craft and business training modules to support operational / contractual obligationsTo implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of food and personal hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.Where required, support the recruitment, interviewing, control and discipline of staff according to the needs of the Senior Operations Manager and within the procedure laid down by the Company. What you bring:Previous catering experience and a Great Passion for Food and Team EngagementExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to  communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levelsIntermediate Food Hygiene CertificateGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressureComputer literacyStrong level of literacy and numeracyAbility to achieve and set standards and operate to performance criteria, with regard to hygienePositive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriateSelf-motivated, sense of own initiative and the ability to meet target deadlines as set by the Account ManagerAbility to work effectively as part of and in the development of a team with a flexible approach to role and to successfully implement changeEnhanced DBS Clearance What we offer: Excellent benefits packageWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
