Singulier Group has recently launched new ventures that bring together former expert consultants in their field: Holis, a data analytics platform for investment funds, and Graphite, a data product venture that specializes in capturing, leveraging, and automating data at scale for our clients. These ventures represent 20 professionals specialized in technology and data.

As Group CTO, you are accountable for developing and implementing the group’s technology strategy, developing the vision for Singulier to be the leading technology consulting partner for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.  Working with our team of cutting edge data and tech leaders, you will create and implement our group-wide tech and data growth strategies, including developing new offers and potentially establishing new spin-off tech ventures. 

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the development and implementation of the group Technology strategy:

• Monitor the market and be on the cutting edge of tech & data innovation.   Collect best practices and benchmark tech market trends, identifying relevant offerings for Singulier group 
• Develop, maintain, and implement a group-wide technology strategy, including opportunities to scale.  Ensure technology is fully embedded in group strategy  
• Identify the best structure to scale, including potentially launching new tech ventures 
• Ensure alignment of approach and effective use of technology resources across the group; ensure we avoid silos 

Design, support sale of, and deliver tech strategy offers for clients

• Consult clients, advise investors and client C-suite by delivering strategic and tailor- made IT consulting projects (incl. due diligences)
• Design and continuously improve a tech consulting offering to generate value for our clients, growing over time based on external trends and innovations as well as client needs  
• Evaluate opportunities to solve strategic profitable tech due diligences and commercial growth challenges within common IT use cases, making tech and data DD a value creation driver
• Collaborate with Partners on business development, including developing proposals and pitching
• Advise teams by troubleshooting ongoing standardized tech & data consulting projects
• Setup task forces to execute and temporarily deliver to  prove the value creation potential

Build, lead and grow team to scale 

• Directly lead and inspire a small team and provide tech functional leadership for a pool of generalist consultants to deliver the tech strategy
• Identify strategic capabilities required to deliver Tech & Data strategy projects, and ensure Singulier has the capability required to deliver
• Facilitate and structure knowledge sharing, training and development within the team and the wider business, focused on knowledge and skills to deliver on projects
• Broadcast broader understanding of emerging technologies to extend the thinking and the skills of the practice
• Support and nurture tech talent across the group

Develop the reach & relevance of the practice to scale

• Promote the practice work and thinking at relevant marketing and private equity events and networks to positively position our work to the benefit of our awareness on the market.  Build / grow an external presence to support Singulier marketing efforts 
• Conduct ongoing knowledge share of our latest offers, projects and tech market trends
• Innovate the way we work

Requirements

• Held a VP, Director, Partner or other equivalent leadership role in a technology or consulting company
• Proven experience in strategy consulting, including extensive experience in digital tech strategy and execution and tech due diligence  
• An international background and the ability to grow and be successful in multi market organizations.
• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge.  Ability to quickly identify streamlined solutions and key tangible actions.Fluent verbal and written English. French is highly recommended. 
• Ability to analyze and synthesize, rigor in reasoning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to digest important  information and summarize for different stakeholders (C-Suite to operational teams). 
• Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative with a great capacity to work in a team.
