4c is proud to be supporting Inspire Wellbeing, an all-island charity and social enterprise with the aim of providing wellbeing for all, as they seek to appoint a Group Director ofMental Health & Addiction Services.
Inspire Wellbeing was established in 1959 and at that time the charity was known as The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health (NIAMH) and was the first of its kind in the country. Over the last 65 years the charity has grown and developed into one of the largest providers of Mental Health and addiction care, intellectual disability and autism care, and therapeutic and wellbeing services in the island of Ireland. Throughout the years their growth has always been guided by their values (inclusive, passionate, determined, kind, honest and innovative), which are embedded in everything they do, every day.
As the charity aims for future growth and expansion in the Republic of Ireland as well as in Northern Ireland, they wish to appoint a Group Director ofMental Health & Addiction Services who will have responsibility for the strategic development and growth of the charity's Mental Health and Addiction Services across Northern Ireland, with the view of expanding operations into the Republic of Ireland, whilst also ensuring effective management and delivery of all related services. The role holder will lead and champion a continuous improvement mindset, driving change management and modernisation of Inspire's services across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The Group Director ofMental Health & Addiction Services will have:
- Significant experience working in a senior leadership role within an organisation delivering front line services across multiple locations and geographies, leading a team through change, growth, and modernisation; ensuring the systems, processes and structures facilitate this evolution.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and successfully implementing complex operational delivery coupled with responsibility for managing significant budgets, tracking expenditure and reporting at board level.
- Experience of effectively engaging with service users coupled with experience of delivering successful outcomes in a health and social care environment, ultimately delivering positive impact for those service users.
- Demonstrable experience of operating successfully within a multi-stakeholder environment, developing effective partnerships with stakeholders from private, public and third sectors, advocating and raising awareness of any specific cause, delivering lasting change and improvement.
- A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
