An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Group FP&A Manager to join a growing international technology business with plans for expansion over the next five years. Based in London with hybrid working capabilities, the role will report into the Group Finance Director and will be responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc projects, working closely with stakeholders from across the business to provide relevant, timely and insightful analysis for business decisions.
This is a high-profile role and will have exposure to senior management and directly impact decision-making. The individual filling this role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on attention to detail and be prepared to roll their sleeves up.
Key Responsibilities
Board & Executive reporting:
- Lead and manage the production and continuous improvement of the Group Monthly Board Reporting and reporting timetables
- Ensure information is relevant and accurate. Develop and implement ideas for further enhancement
- Interface with Market-facing finance teams to ensure timely, accurate and consistent data and high quality commentary and variance analysis
OneStream:
- FP&A ownership of this Corporate Performance Management Tool
- Leverage OneStream to improve the accuracy and efficiency of management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Lead for the Group annual budget and forecasting processes:
- Co-ordinate these key business processes and own the production of Board presentations with the Group FD
- Support budget holders through the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Manage stakeholder engagement and final budget sign-off
Provide Finance Business Partnering for Central functions:
- Supporting budget holders in the Central functions with forecasting and budgeting
- Providing reporting and analysis to support stakeholders in the management of their cost base
Ad-hoc project work and commercial analysis:
- Build ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
- Investment analysis and business case preparation
- Supporting the Group FD with the five year planning process
- Continually looking for opportunities to ensure that processes are as automated and efficient as possible
- Support with regular cash flow forecasting and cash management
Requirements
- Prior experience in FP&A including month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong excel / financial modelling skills
- Experience of business partnering with management teams, demonstrating the ability to positively influence outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to use these to influence stakeholders
- Comfortable taking ownership for projects and driving them to a successful conclusion
- Strong understanding of the relationship between P&L, B/S and cash
- Team player, but capable of working independently
- Highly motivated, proactive, organised, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
