Our centralised Group HR Team of 16 employees (HR, Organisational Development, Recruitment and Rewards and Benefits) is based in Newcastle upon Tyne at the Group Head Office, in Woolsington near to Newcastle Airport. The Group HR Manager is a new role and will be responsible for a team of 4 HR Advisors and 2 Administrators.
In this role, working closely with the Group HR Director, you will implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that supports the growth and success of Bellway, as well as working towards our aspiration of becoming an inclusive employer of choice. Being responsible for all aspects of HR management including, policy/guidance, terms and conditions, employee relations, performance engagement, employee experience and other HR related matters you will liaise with directors and senior leaders to understand their HR requirements and support/coach directors and senior leaders on all people management matters, including change management and improving engagement results.
As Group HR Manager you will work collaboratively with Bellway’s Group Senior Organisational Development Manager and Group Resourcing and Talent Manager to take a collective team approach on matters, as well as on projects and to ensure that all elements of the employee experience are covered.
