There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Head Office located in Newcastle upon Tyne is recruiting for the position of Group Marketing Coordinator to join the growing sales and marketing team.
The Role
The Group Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for analysing the marketing requirements of several assigned Bellway divisions and will inform, devise, implement and oversee marketing activity and reporting for the respective divisions in order to optimise brand exposure, drive company growth, leads and sales.
Principal accountabilities of the Group Marketing Coordinator role include:
Work closely with Regional Marketing Manager and Sales teams to understand the marketing challenges, opportunities and requirements of specific divisions and developments and review these requirements against sales targets and objectives set by divisional sales teams, in order to proactively suggest and implement marketing strategies.
With expert support, track all marketing and advertising campaigns and activity and prepare performance analysis reports, suggesting improvements to future campaigns.
Maintain, expand and utilise Bellway’s existing databases of clients including using this data for highly targeted and segmented marketing campaigns to deliver leads and return on investment, ensuring GDPR compliance at all stages.
Ensure that content and assets published across property portals, including Rightmove and Zoopla, are kept up to date by working collaboratively with divisional sales teams, external agencies and other members of the marketing team.
Work with sales managers and advisors, plus a team of copywriters, social media team and digital Marketing Coordinators to ensure the digital profile of current and new developments is always accurate, optimised and displaying to the highest possible level on Bellway company websites.
Help devise and proof read all marketing campaigns and material and liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of all published material.
Liaise with external contacts including PR agencies, photographers, videographers, digital and advertising agencies to provide supporting materials and assets for all marketing campaigns including showhome photography, virtual tours, CGIs, floor plans, press releases and more.
The successful candidate must hold a firm understanding of online advertising and use this to review effectiveness of campaigns, plus keep abreast of new digital and traditional advertising opportunities as well as changes to the marketing and property industry.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience
Previous experience in a marketing or digital marketing role and a keen interest in data analysis and analytics is essential, in order to scrutinise sales and lead data and evaluate marketing strategies.
Degree in a marketing or business course or similar discipline is desirable.
Creative thinker and good copy writer.
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to the divisions for which they are responsible. They will require access to their own car and business insurance.
Qualifications and Training
GCSE Maths and English – Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Higher Education Qualification (A-Level or equivalent)
Marketing qualifications are desirable
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Skills and Aptitude
Excellent communication skills, including face to face, telephone, and written communication
A keen interest in data and analytics, with an ability to interpret information relating to sales and marketing performance
An appreciation of both online and offline marketing channels
Ability to build relationships both with internal and external personnel
Ability to manage multiple projects, working to deadlines and under pressure
Ability to work with initiative
Enthusiastic, positive and motivated with a flexible approach to work
Excellent attention to detail
Able to embrace training
Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
Good teamwork skills
Good working knowledge of Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and demonstrates a willingness to be trained on internal IT systems.
Willingness to travel to divisions across the country as required in order to facilitate role

The Role and Working Conditions
Monday to Friday: 35 hours per week
Office based role, with regular travel to Divisional offices and development sites as and when required.
This is a Group Head Office role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne but applicants in the London area would also be considered
