Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of goods and services required for the smooth operation of our multi-site client. This role is pivotal in ensuring procurement best practices, governance, and collaboration across the group.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes.
- Ensure supplier onboarding follows agreed processes and documentation requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and govern structured procurement policies and practices.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Work closely with the procurement team to align processes and procedures.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favourable agreements.
- Review supplier pricing and terms and conditions to ensure the best deals.
- Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
- Act as a point of contact for business unit procurement queries, offering advice or leading procurement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally from a centralised function
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with different teams within the group.
