New Vacancy: Group Reliability Manager at The Compleat Food Group
Location: Flexible, Commutable to our site locations

The Role: Group Reliability Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Reliability Strategy: Develop and implement a Group Reliability strategy aligned with our organisational objectives, defining
goals, performance indicators, and metrics.
* Asset Management: Oversee critical asset management, ensuring reliability and availability. Implement life-cycle management
strategies including maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
* Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential failures in assets or systems, implementing
strategies for group to enhance reliability and prevent downtime across our locations
* Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into equipment failures or system outages. Conduct root cause analyses and implement
corrective actions.
* Maintenance Planning: Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, optimising maintenance schedules for maximum
reliability.
* Data Analysis and Monitoring: Utilise monitoring and data analysis tools to track asset and system performance, identifying
trends and potential issues.
* Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with operations teams, integrating reliability considerations into daily
activities, and providing operational guidance for asset reliability.
* Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement in reliability practices, enhancing processes,
technologies, and workflows.
* Training and Development: Provide team training and development opportunities in reliability engineering and keep them updated
with industry best practices.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, adapting to regulatory changes as needed.
* Communication: Communicate reliability performance and initiatives to stakeholders, and collaborate across site teams to align
efforts.

Requirements:
1. Technical Expertise: A strong background in engineering maintenance. This includes understanding the principles of reliability
engineering, maintenance strategies, and the ability to apply these principles to improve asset performance and reliability.
2. Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse data and use it to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for
improvement. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects
Analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
3. Project Management: Experience in managing large scale projects, especially those related to equipment maintenance, upgrades,
and replacements. This includes planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are completed on time and
within budget.
4. Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills to guide and develop a team focused on reliability. This includes
excellent communication skills to effectively convey reliability goals and strategies to team members, stakeholders, and
across departments.
5. Risk Management: The ability to assess risks associated with equipment failure and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
This includes understanding of risk assessment tools and techniques, and the ability to balance risk against cost and
performance.
6. Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, ensuring that all practices
and procedures comply with these standards. This is important for maintaining safe operations and avoiding legal or regulatory
issues.

maintaining and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our assets.
