Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Supply Chain Manager to lead our Supply Chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless flow of materials, optimise inventory levels, and enhance supplier relationships. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our clients reputation for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive Supply Chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and optimise procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, achieving the best possible terms for the company.
• Foster strong relationships with both SME and blue-chip company partners to ensure reliable supply and collaboration.
• Monitor and analyse Supply Chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production planning and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier agreements.
• Extensive experience working with SMEs; familiarity with blue chip companies is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
