You’ll be stepping in to one of the largest food manufacturing businesses in the UK, playing a key role within the Group Sustainability team and owning the business strategy on Sustainability reporting.
It’s a newly created role within the business that highlights the importance and focus on what they’re doing and how they’re going to get there. Your will be pivotal to their success.
You’ll be reporting in to the Head of Sustainability setting up new projects, overseeing work with third parties and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be the lead of the delivery of the Annual Sustainability Report and section of the Annual Finance Report, as well as being the lead on the delivery of index reporting such a CDP, Sustainalytics GRI, SASB and WRAP food waste reporting.
You’ll also lead the development and delivery of their in-house roadmap, whilst managing the verification of key data points for key disclosures, identifying trends, areas for improvement and have opportunities for innovation and insights to help inform decision-making.
You’ll need to be a confident communicator as you’ll also providing sustainability-related input for presentations to engage internal and external stakeholders, including for the Board, senior management and customers.
You’ll also need to be coming from a food manufacturing or FMCG background with proven success in a corporate sustainability environment.
The role can be remote, but will require approximately 25% travel (dependent on workload) across the UK.
