With over 30 years of experience, Our Client has evolved from a small travel store into a multi-million-pound business with offices in Kent, London, and India.
Group and Events Consultant - What Will I be doing ?
- As a Groups and Events Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the success of the Groups and Events team.
- Crafting compelling and relevant client proposals, demonstrating exceptional destination knowledge.
- Booking individual and group travel arrangements, including flights, rail, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and Events.
- Providing excellent client service, obtaining feedback, and supporting ongoing business processes.
- Travelling with clients as required and handling on-site issues during events.
Group and Events Consultant - What experience do I need ?
- We are looking for someone with either travel consultant or event experience - this could be in event management at an agency or a venue
- Experience in flight/rail booking, conferences, incentives, and seasonal parties would be a plus.
- Willingness to attend industry events to enhance knowledge and relationships.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven destination knowledge.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and online meeting tools.
