As GUEST EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT MANAGER for PGL, you’ll be based at our beautiful activity centre Château de Grande Romaine, situated just 20 miles from Paris, ensuring that your team is delivering the famous PGL magic, by offering enriching & life-affirming adventures to young lives!
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Guest Experience Manager, you willbe responsible for leading, managing and empowering a team of leaders withinthe Guest Experience team to deliver of high quality, safe and fun educational guestexperiences with specific leadership responsibility for on centre Activities. You will support the GuestExperience Manager to manage the day-to-day excursions, and tours,whilst leading the activitydelivering, ensuring your reports have the right tools and skills in place todeliver excellent Guest Experience and manage their teams effectively. You willsupport them to resolve guest and colleague related issues appropriate and in atimely manner. You will also support the implementation of course correctiveaction and new ways-of-working, as directed by the Guest Experience Manager
Leading an energetic & fun group of Team Leaders and Activity Instructors/Group Leaders; ensuring they are delivering the best possible experience to our guests & living our values of CUSTOMER FIRST, TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ACTION, LEARNING and FUN!

- A confident line manager & leader of people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An approachable and effective communicator, able to develop successful working relationships with a variety of people and teams
- Enjoys problem solving and thrives when faced with a variety of challenges & deadlines
- Previous line management experience within guest care/activity delivery & able to coach/train/mentor teams
- Enjoys providing exceptional, customer-focused service
- Experience in the design and delivery of effective training
- Able to manage time-critical priorities & pressured situations
- Self-motivated and able to accomplish objectives without supervision
