Our client, a renowned musical instrument retailer, is seeking a highly motivated Guitar Product & Marketing Specialist. This role offers remote working 3 days a week.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering marketing activities using the extensive understanding of the UK guitar market and market segmentation.
• Creating detailed marketing plans in conjunction with sales and marketing departments.
• Maintaining an awareness of European marketing strategies while developing UK initiatives.
• Enhancing the touch points of the customer journey.
• Developing marketing strategies across digital and physical environments.
• Providing relevant and creative marketing solutions in conjunction with the sales group.
• Delivering staff training, marketing content and expertise to support sales and marketing.
• Delivering marketing activity and promotion in collaboration with venues, artists, and influencers.
• Collaborating with artists and influencer contacts to deliver promotions.
• Developing localised content for social media channels, home pages, and newsletters.
• Managing expenditure and all non-good budgets.
• Delivering all reporting.
• Delivering relevant training assets and requirements.
• Provide support for company events as required.
• Developing all online content.
• Developing strong commercial relationships with PR, Agencies, and relevant trade and consumer media.
• Progressing the international and UK profiles of the company’s artists.
Requirements:
• In depth knowledge of the UK guitar market and guitars.
• Good product knowledge on a range of various guitars.
• A clear understanding and experience of traditional marketing.
• Experience in communicating product information.
• Extensive marketing acumen.
• Experience delivering staff training.
• Solid understanding of how to enhance brand profiles.
• Able to build productive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Microsoft Outlook, Windows 7, and PowerPoint knowledge.
• QlikView, InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop/Premier Pro.
