Hours 12 hours per week 32 weeks per year (September to May)

Ideally to be spread over 3 days - Monday, Thursday and Friday

Grade Spine Point 8 - 10

Salary £5,750.42 - £6,053.63 pa (pro rata of £24,010- £25,276 pa)

The pro rata salary includes entitlement to 22 days annual leave plus bank holiday and College statutory days

Responsible to Head of Sport & PE Department

Responsible for Overseeing the safe use of the Fitness Centre

Purpose of the role

Support the efficient working of the Sport & PE Department, instruct and support students and staff in the safe use of the Fitness Centre alongside delivering fitness classes for students and providing personal fitness programmes.

Person Specification

Essential

1. Appropriate qualification in Personal Training
2. Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate
3. Level 3 Personal Trainer

Desirable

1. Qualified to deliver 'spin-cycle' classes and other fitness disciplines
