Grade 6, £24,703 to £25,979 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £12,351.50 to £12,989.50)

Hours: 18.5 per week


The Local Authority is looking to appoint a dynamic administrator to support the DfE Holiday Activity Food Programme (HAF) and the Wraparound Programme.

These programmes ensure children have access to childcare before and after school and, for those children who are eligible access to holiday childcare. The success of this ensures parents and carers of primary school age children will be able to access childcare when needed. Ultimately resulting in parents and carers being able to access the labour market.

The role will involve supporting the team who are delivering on the HAF and wraparound programmes. This will be a varied role and will include communicating with Providers and families, creating spreadsheets, mapping areas, supporting media campaigns as well as general administrator tasks such as minute taking. You will work within the Early Years Advisory Team as well as collaboratively with teams across the local authority. To be successful in this role you need to have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The role is an agile role where you can work from home but will be required to attend meetings, when necessary, at County Hall or Westridge Learning centre.
