30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, paid for 43 weeks to include holiday entitlement and pro rata entitlement for Bank Holidays.

Crawley College has improved the in-house salon provisions for staff and students.

We are looking to recruit a Hair and Beauty Technician to work within a small team lead by our Salon Team Leader.

We are looking for an experienced person to work as part of the Hair and Beauty Team within our state-of-the-art industry standard Hair and Beauty Salons. The area has a high volume of custom throughout the academic year and you will be required to undertake general salon duties and to contribute to the College’s professional hair and beauty services.

The duties will include reception duties (including stock control), making sure the salons stay clean and tidy, laundry duties, assisting the teaching staff and students within the salons as well as assisting clients and ensuring health and safety within the salon.

You will possess excellent customer service skills and knowledge of different hair and beauty services and also hold a Level 2 Hairdressing and/or Beauty Therapy qualification.

The working pattern for this role will be discussed at interview. Please note evening work would be expected on a rota.
