Dorothee in the 20th century will explore the lived experiences of three UK African and Caribbean women in London's music subcultures, from 1950s Calypso and Minto to the 1990s Garage and Jungle.

The visual design must inspire the audience's earliest aspirations, representation, sense of identity and feelings of Black British empowerment.
This project is inspired by iconic artists from the 1960s to the 1990s, including Milly, Janet Kay, Louisa Marksman, Caroll Thompson, Sade, Mica Paris, Neneh Cherry, Caron Wheeler, Monie Love, and Shola Ama
Skills required include excellent wig setting and dressing and knowledge and skills of makeup application (including character make-up, fashion make-up,).
