Job Title: Handyperson/Maintenance Operative

Location: Nottingham

Hours: Full-Time 37.5 hours per week, typically 0800 - 1600, 0900-1700 or 1000-1800.

Salary: £12.55 per hour

Duration: Temporary to Permanent.

About Us:

Total Staff Services are currently recruiting a Maintenance Operative for one of our clients based in Nottingham City Centre. This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to uphold the quality of student accommodation facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests, ensuring a timely resolution of issues.
• Flat pack furniture building, painting, re-sealing, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Undertake repairs and minor changes to enhance the overall student living experience.
• Monitor and manage essential building systems including HVAC, plumbing and electricals.
• Maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for students and staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a maintenance or facilities role.
• Independent with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.55 per hour
