House Manager/Handyperson Job, Edinburgh, Scotland
Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a House Manager/Handyperson for their property in Edinburgh and a second property in the Trossachs. The role is to manage the maintenance and projects across various properties.
There are other members of staff at both properties, communication with the team and the Principals is key and being able to prioritise is essential.
Duties Include:
- General maintenance - Boiler, changing bulbs, electricity meter readings, brushing outside, leaf blowing, hanging pictures, gutters
- Property maintenance
- Transporting items between both properties
- Arranging and overseeing contractors
- Paying contractors
- Purchasing household items for the properties
- Arranging car servicing - organising cleaning etc. for cars
- Moving items around the house as needed
- Pickup and drop off of primary age kid to school + other driving
- Various errands around Edinburgh
- Helping with Housekeeping from time to time
- Recycling rubbish etc.
- Security of the properties
Hours: Full time - 8am start for school drop off (40 hours) but flexibility is required on occasion
