Hard Landscape Team Leader
The Role:
The business is looking to recruit a Landscape Team Leader to join our staff and contribute to our company journey. You will be joining a team of people who are enthusiastic and hard working with a can-do attitude.
You will lead a specialist team of three or more staff to deliver high quality projects to our customer base. The role will be to expand the teams to meet the requirements of the business, develop the individuals within and to ensure the company’s reputation remains excellent.
Hard Landscape Team Leader
The Candidate.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who is fair, inspiring, caring and comfortable under pressure. Able to set an example of what good looks like and to create clear goals and objectives for the team.
You will be able to liaise with customers using your good communication skills, being professional and personable.
You will contribute to problem solving, innovation and day to day management of the team always acting with integrity and compassion.
Essential Attributes.
- A proven track record of a minimum of 7 years in the Hard Landscape sector with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- A proven minimum of 5 years’ experience with the installation of all Hard Landscape elements including composite decking, paving and water features to name a few.
- High Integrity.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Leadership experience in the same or similar industry.
- Practical problem-solving capability, being able to think outside the box.
- A desire to learn and develop.
- A positive, upbeat attitude.
- Ambition to work and contribute to a growing business.
- Fully conversant with site Health and Safety requirements.
- Ability to read and understand design documentation, project charters and drawings.
- Experience of soft landscaping including turfing, tree planting, shrub planting and setting out.
- Ability to work within a project plan for budget, timescales and quality.
- Experience of working with and managing sub-contractors.
- A full driving license.
- Ability to operate site machinery
- CSCS and SMSTS an advantage
