There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of bespoke products as a Hardware Cell Manager. As a Hardware Cell Manager your role will focus on managing the manufacturing team, ensure production targets are met and ensure that products meet the exact design specifications.
Hardware Cell Manager Responsibilities;
- Managing and leading a manufacturing team
- Planning, organizing, delegating and monitoring the work of the team
- Ensure that production targets are met
- Provide technical support to management and the wider engineering team
- Identify and drive continuous improvement projects
- Forecasting and managing departments budgets
- Ensuring adherence to the Health & Safety policy
- Motivate and coach the team to operational success
Hardware Cell Manager Requirements;
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Formal leadership qualification such as ILM
- Previous experience in managing a Manufacturing department
- Previous experience in Lean manufacturing tools and techniques
- Experience of ISO standards would be advantageous
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience in manufacturing engineering in an ISO 9001 environment
