The full potential of quantum computing will be unlocked with a large-scale computer capable of complex, error-corrected computations. Google Quantum AI's mission is to build this computer and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.
As a Quantum Hardware Engineer, you will own and streamline the calibration and characterization procedures for our quantum processors. You will be responsible for ensuring we have an efficient and reliable procedure for device bringup and characterization of large-scale devices such as the Sycamore processor, as well as fast-turn experimental devices. You will also be responsible for ensuring data from these procedures is easily available for longitudinal data analysis, and work with researchers and engineers to understand the impact of key experiments.
