Position: HCA Team Leader
As an HCA Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Healthcare Assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our clients' residents. In addition to the responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the team, coordinate care plans, and act as a point of contact for residents and their families. - Hourly Rate: £12.20
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising a team of Healthcare Assistants.
- Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
- Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.
- Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is needed
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
