We have an exciting opportunity for a Grants Writing Officer in the new Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) at Southampton City Council (SCC). In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development of grant applications that align with research on the wider determinants of health.

Working with the HDRC Team, you will support colleagues and partners in identifying, drafting and developing bids and you will manage the process of grant applications. You will build effective relationships with SCC staff and external stakeholders, including community members and organisations, to effectively co-develop grant applications. 

Educated to degree level, and with knowledge of research funding systems and application processes, you will have excellent organisational skills and be a good communicator. Your skills and experience will support the HDRC in developing and using research evidence to improve health and reduce health inequalities in the city.
