Job title: HE Lecturer/Course Manager – Veterinary Nursing
Salary: £27,781 – £36,979 (L6 – L13) per annum
Status: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week
University Centre Reaseheath is looking to appoint a highly motivated, driven and enthusiastic team player to join our team of Higher Education lecturers to support delivery of our undergraduate Veterinary Nursing and animal science programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success as we continue to grow and develop our curriculum offer.
Reporting directly to the Programme Leader, the Lecturer/Course Manager will have direct responsibility for supporting the attainment and continuation of a group of students as well as active responsibility for maintaining academic quality and standards and a high quality student experience. This post would ideally suit an experienced lecturer or an early career starter as you will be supported in the completion of a relevant teaching qualification.
You should be qualified to a minimum of Level 6 within a related discipline and have relevant and up to date industry/professional practice within the sector. You should also hold registered veterinary nurse status (or professional equivalent). Evidence of relevant scholarly activity that you can use to enhance the student experience would be advantageous.

University Centre Reaseheath is set within beautiful campus grounds in the heart of Cheshire. Our undergraduate provision is supported by access to excellent facilities in our dedicated Veterinary Nursing department with specialist practical study areas including clinical skills suite, diagnostic imaging suite and modern laboratories. We also have a working farm set in 330 hectares and a fully licensed zoo and animal management centre housing over 1000 exotic, park and companion animals.
