The Fountain Inn is a small family run pub in the village of Newbridge, situated between Penzance and St Just.

We are looking for an experience and well referenced Head Chef/cook to take the reins for the food in a well established and well loved pub. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to really grow an already popular destination.

You MUST be confident in preparing and serving Sunday roasts for upwards of 40 people every week as well as preparing, cooking and serving the regular menu Wednesday- Saturday. There is also room for extending these in the summer season as well as themed evening and specials.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right credentials who wants to embrace a ready-made customer base and elevate it to the next level, as long as it’s all done with respect and sound communication.

We are looking for:

• Ability to work on your own, tracking your time accurately
• Ability to work under pressure
• Reliable and punctual
• Experience of planning menu’s including costings

Desirable:

• Barista trained
• Catering qualifications
